Seattle Center Theatre Accessibility

  • ADA Accessible
  • Distant Parking
  • Hard of Hearing
  • Other

The Center Theatre is fully accessible and follows all guidelines set forth by the ADA.

Please use our contact form below, or call us to reserve accessible seating or visit our Box Office just before the show to ensure front row placement to best appreciate the work onstage.

There are three ADA-accessible entrances to the Armory (Center House), wherein The Center Theatre is located. Please note that two of these entrances are not to the performance space, the Center Theatre. The best entrance to use is the east entrance (facing Artists at Play and MoPOP) that will bring you right to our doors!

Click here (http://www.seattlecenter.com/downloads/sc_map_color_gates.pdf) for a PDF map of the Seattle Center Campus. We are located in the yellow building nearest to the center of the campus, just south of Memorial Stadium.

It is not possible to drive to the theatre; the closest drop-off point is the turn-around at The Museum of Pop Culture, or MoPOP (previously EMP), located at 5th Ave North and Harrison streets. Be aware, that there is still about a 200-yard walk from the turn-around to the entrance of the theatre.  We have a scooter available. Use the form below to request.

The Armory is accessible via a number of King County Metro Busses along 5th Avenue North, Denny Way, and 1st Avenue North. Additionally, you may use the Seattle Center Monorail to connect to downtown Seattle transit hubs or the Link Light Rail. There are a very limited number of ADA Parking Spots located at the northwest corner of the Seattle Center campus (at the corner or 2nd Avenue N and Mercer Street). These spots cost $15 (CASH ONLY).
