A New Era: Shermona Mitchell Named Sound Theatre Co-Artistic Director
Beginning January 1, Shermona Mitchell will ascend to Sound Theatre’s co-artistic director position, serving alongside founding artistic director Teresa Thuman.
Changer: A Hand Telling Accepted to First Film Festivals
In Fall 2021, Sound Theatre Company and the Changer team headed out to Lower Elwha S’Klallam Tribal land. Four days of filming and a whole bunch of learning later, we ended up with the footage that would eventually become a feature film.
We Raised $35,000 at Our First In-Person Gala since 2020
We did it! On Saturday March 26th, we hosted Beloved Stories, Beloved Communities, Sound Theatre’s first LIVE gala since 2019. You helped us to bring our community together after a confusing few years. We are so grateful for you and the joy of seeing your faces in person.

Sound Theatre Company has new ticket pricing for this production to help make our work accessible for all. We have four tiers, available at any performance:
$5 – Inclusion Rate
$25 – General Admission Rate
$50 – Patron Rate
$75 – Benefactor Rate
You are welcome to purchase tickets at any price you choose. There is no difference in service or seating among the price levels; the higher rates reflect the true cost of producing our high-quality, award-winning work. Sound Theatre appreciates your commitment to supporting art and artists in your local community.
