A co-production with Earthseed
Directed by Jéhan Òsanyìn
Digital streaming of the live production at 12th Avenue Arts
In the midst of a dark storm, two people – one cast out by those she trusted, the other stuck in the mundane – find each other.
The pregnant Celestina can stop time, but it’s a power that she can’t control. Everything beautiful about love, both timeless and fleeting, is turned into magic. The moments that they find normal, delicate feelings of home can be everything.
Penned by Academy Award-nominated writer José Rivera with his signature touch of magical realism.
Originally produced at The Actors Theatre of Louisville.
